You can pick from costumes other than a Samurai, such as an old-fashioned university student Kimono or even a Furisode (long-sleeved kimono). We have many accessories such as a Katana (Japanese sword), tea sets, fans that match your costume's theme, which make for an enjoyable and fun photo session!

Summer Promo! Yukata Portraits (From $490)

We now offer a Yukata (casual summer kimono) portrait session around the historical Asakusa area. A Yukata is much easier to wear and good for Kimono beginners. The package (from $490) includes a rental Yukata, simple hair arrangement, a mini-album, a DVD holding your picture data and slideshow, and a portrait photo session in a studio as well as outdoors set against Asakusa's cultural scenery. A Yukata can be worn by both women and men.

Though Kyoto is interesting in its own way, it is very far from Tokyo; if you are interested in Japanese-style portraits, Asakusa and Kamakura are both well-suited and are more conveniently situated from the Tokyo area. We can also coordinate a rental Kimono or Yukata (casual Kimono) with traditional Japanese hair/make up; have portraits taken of yourself in traditional Japanese wear while strolling along historical streets and alleyways.
